Today’s craft tutorial is making jewelled bobby pins. I originally made these for my little girls because they loved anything bejewelled but they would make an elegant accessory for a bride, bridal party or a night on the town. I am demonstrating the technique with rhinestones and small pearls, but I think anything can be used, whether you want to use larger pearls or stones. I was going to use larger pearls myself but I had some difficulty finding ones that didn’t have the holes for jewelry making. I am sure there are some out there but I couldn’t get my hands on some at the moment.
You will need
Pearls and/or rhinestones
Hot glue gun
1) Place the stone on a work surface, with the back facing up.
2) Line up the bobby pin and hold down
3) Place a small dollop of glue to fuse the stone and bobby pin together
4) Set aside to allow the glue to dry and harden
A super easy craft but with fabulous impact!
