Simply striking and strikingly simple. Recipes, crafts, home decor and general life hacks that are easy yet impressive.
I cannot be the only one who gets a kick out of those little balls of butter served in chilled bowls with the teeny tongs. If there’s one thing you’ll begin to notice on this blog, I have a fascination with individual serving sized foods of all kinds. Maybe it’s the kid in me, or the person who doesn’t like to share their food, or the germaphobe but I like it when I have things accessible just to myself.
Here is a neat little idea for dinner parties. Using silicone moulds to make individual butter servings. You can refer back to my previous post on homemade butter to make these little gems.
You will need
Silicone moulds. The ones pictures are from Ikea originally meant to be used to make ice.
Small cookie scoop although two spoons would work as well
Scoop the butter into each of the cavities, smooth down the butter making sure that it fills all the crevices of the mould and place in fridge for at least 2 hours to harden before un-moulding.
